Yellow Crystal Suggestions: Sherlotta, Rude, Basch, Layle, Bartz, Y'shtola, Keiss
Orb Suggestions:
This orb will kill you upon exploding
Fight mechanics:
60T to get through 40M HP (2x 20M HP)
BRV damage is reduced by up to 70% throughout the fight.
BRV Gains are reduced by up to 70% throughout the fight.
General Team Themes to counter the stage:
Sherlotta is the banner character with access to BT and FR for synergy stats, orb control and potentially big damage
If possible, don't let these guys get turns as their ALL attack in red aura can be lethal even to last stand units
If not racing the orb, bring big mitigation, strong HP DMG down debuffs for the enemies (like Raijin, Reno) or stuns (Kam)
Boss abilities to watch out for:
Tremor+: AoE Melee BRVs + HP done twice. Ignores BRV mitigation, delays broken targets 3T.
Runaway: Delays own turn, absorbs all your party's BRV, lowers your party's iBRV

BRV gains are reduced by up to 70% throughout the fight.
General Team Themes to counter the stage:
Exdeath is the banner unit this fight is catered to so be wary on breaking the boss with yellow aura on your button push as it will counter.
If using Tidus, make sure his Jecht shot doesn't break the boss in Break Counter stance unless he's in BT melting their HP
A strong BT+ unit with proper support/launches can ignore most of the fight's mechanics
Boss abilities to watch out for:
Piercing Spear+: Recover from BREAK, BRV gain, Melee BRVs + HP done twice. Guaranteed Hit.
Break Counter: BRV gain, upon breaking this unit, you will trigger it's counter. Recovers from BREAK every other turn.
Counter Light of Sanctions: BRV gain, removes buffs, Magic BRVs + HP, Delay target 2T, inflict Curse & iBRV Down, Heals HP. Guaranteed hit. (Will use even if stunned)

Enemy: Lunatic Disaster Machine & 2x Lunatic Sweepers (they respawn)

39% - Disaster Machine tells it's minions to attack a target each. If the minion is not below 50% HP, they will instantly kill it's target.
Force Time (100%) - BRV DMG taken -100%, Your party takes 10% HP Poison
In addition, Disaster Machine gains 1.1M HP Regen on our turns. Also places an HP poison field effect for the rest of the fight. (Have fun)
Immune to debuffs that prevent action (except Wakka Confuse Reels)
Disaster Machine has extra buffs you need to remove by inflicting debuffs on it!
(until 59%)with 2 debuffs placed - remove its "Reduce BRV/HP DMG by 200%" effect
with 5 debuffs placed - remove its "Increase BRV/HP DMG dealt by 50%" effect
with 7 debuffs placed - remove its "Warp after your ally's action" effect
with 8 debuffs placed - remove its "ATK, DEF & SPD +50%" effect
Scary boss things:
Amplified Wave Cannon (Force): Recover from BREAK, BRV gain, Set your party's BRV to 0, Split HP attack
Heavy Vapor: Recover from BREAK, AoE Magic BRVs + Split HP attack. Inflicts Poison to your party and gains BRV DMG up on self

This fight was brought to you by thick chicken tanks!
Fight mechanics:
75T fight with 110M HP on main boss, Minions have 5M HP each.
BRV damage is reduced by up to 80% throughout the fight.
BRV gain is reduced by up to 80% throughout the fight.
Tips:
First fight where having a Force Weapon is required. Especially towards the end with the 1.1M HP regens as it becomes a damage race however you can still rely on off-turn damage such as counters, traps and Kain/Freya on enemy turns instead of a big BT phase.
If you go into Summon/BT phase before the boss dips below 60% and push it past 59%, it will order it's minions to attack as soon as Summon/BT phase is over so make sure they die exactly on that last turn or at least take enough damage to be below half health or units will die!
You probably want debuffs to prevent the boss warping all the time. Tidus, Gabranth, Exdeath are all great units on-field to handle this however timing useful calls like Faris, etc can work as well.
You can opt to let the boss go often to counter it if you bring enough mitigation as well.
You should be able to evade most if not all of it's HP attacks if you want it to take turns.
It was a common strategy to use a strong Force Time + BT Phase to take the boss down as clost to 41% as possible and even taking the boss from 75%+ is possible (to skip it's threshold mechanics) however it takes a very strong Force user and damage dealer combo (Tidus BT phase was very popular as was Tidus or Kam's FR time. Supports/Allies varied from Rude to other FR users like Ursula as backup FRs or Kain/other off-turn damage dealers to assist in the big push).
If you do try this method yourself be wary that after leaving BT phase in FR time and failing to kill the boss is not necessarily a restart! Unless the adds kill you for pushing thresholds, if you still have another FR use in the tank with at least 20 turns (so you can refill FR gauge and use another Force Time) there is still hope to clear even if the boss heals 1% of it's HP as you'll also be doing damage to reduce it's healing.

Notes on Solos/Duos
Due to the slow release of Transcendence and the power of our units growing, many previous Reckonings (Middle Gates) can be done with 1-2 units which means using 1 unit on each Crucible (Side Gate). While it helps save units, some Solos/Duos have luck or specific strategy components so we will help identify at least which units have been extremely useful in the tier as of this update (made June 2023) so if Solo/Duo strategies aren't your thing, you can at least see what unit does great in a fight so you can throw some more units at it.
When we mention a character we assume them to have as many upgrades and weapons as possible. These will also be added to each tier page.
REMINDER: start at the latest tier and go backward as you can use your strongest units faster that way with little fear of needing to shuffle units around. These units are great if you have them, but you can overpower stages without them.
Left: Ardyn or Sherlotta
Right: Eight or Tidus
Reckoning: Ardyn or Neon can solo, Tidus + Sherlotta can duo, There' is also a unique "cheese" to this fight with high enough FR HP DMG Bonus, Ifrit summon and a Dorgann LDCA where Dorgann will finish the fight because he keeps breaking and killing the side enemies.
Demonstration by our own Cel, your team can vary as this video was made in Nov 2022 and other options of FR and FR gauge chargers exist: https://youtu.be/HKzCIpa3TAY
