C Spheres - Llyud, Maria or Alphinaud for party ATK boosts. Garnet for a selfish ATK boost. Y'shtola is a battery support without Encouragement armor so Pecil isn't as effective :c
E Sphere - Only S1 debuffs so Seymour or another generic debuff application/utility sphere.
TLDR: Typically, Y’shtola’s skill uses are mainly used for utility and not typically spammed. Most of her turns will go to using her BRV+ variants. With BT+, her strong BT effect can now last up to 20 turns in a fight so it is not a terrible idea to use it early on to get the high damage out early. All of her abilities (except Afflatus Misery) provide battery to the party as well. You will want your party members to have more BRV than their iBrv at the beginning of their turns or they will not receive the effect of her BT effect.
Stone+ (S1) is an earth element single target delay. Typically you want to avoid using an absorbed element on an enemy however when tied to the delay that Y’shtola has, this can be advantageous as it will battery the opponent and delay them, allowing an ally to break them and delay them even further. Stone+ also has a fast turn rate allowing Y’shtola to go faster so keep this in mind to not burn through her BT effect.
Medica II (S2) is a strong heal and battery for the team along with a free, instant turn. This is fine if you need a big battery when the party BRV amount is low.
Pulse of Life (EX) is an incredibly strong healing EX move. It revives allies (which no longer affects score) heals and batteries the party while recovering 1 use of both of her skills and giving her a free instant turn. This can be held onto until needed.
Scion’s Holy (LD) unbreaks all enemies and then AoE shaves them allowing Y’shtola to delay the enemies through break while batterying the party, increasing her Lily’s by 2 (along with the Lily from the battery) and giving a free turn. This does not provide any buffs so it probably should only be used when a rebreak is needed, since the instant turn will eat into her BT effect.
Scion’s Aero III (BRV+) is Y’shtola’s most used ability. Anytime you do not need to heal or delay, you will be using this or Misery.
Afflatus Misery (BRV+++) should be used as soon as it is available as any other ability use will be a waste of a potential lily unless using another ability will save a run (healing, delaying, etc)
During her BT phase, it is best to simply use her BRV variants, LD for instant full stacks, unless the delay from Stone+ is needed.
