Sphere Recommendations
NOTE: The sphere letters below are hyperlinked to our Sphere Hub which lists all available spheres sorted by effect!C Sphere - Paladin Cecil or RF if you have it! It is by far the best due to its future interaction with the Encouragement keystone. If you don't have one, focus on any sphere that has a buffing trigger, like Alphinaud. Any other spheres will be barely noticeable.
D Spheres - Freya and Freya RF are the two best choices. They stack with each other for 14% party HP up, but note they don't stack with duplicates (like two Freya RF). If you don't have these 2, then opt for Hope, Wakka, or any ATK driven sphere.
How-To-Play Notes
Porom starts with her LD buff now, so feel free to use either skills to start ramping it up and use LD before her LD buff falls off unless you need healing any earlier - then just press it.
Cry (S1) is a party battery which notably drops enemy DEF significantly. After the first use, you’ll have access to the + version which has a larger DEF spike. This is most notable at the end of fights when bosses have their highest stats available.
Mysidian Brilliance (S2) is a massive single target heal and gives the target a 2T HP DMG reduction buff of 70%. Any overhealing is converted to battery which is great. This is a good option when you’re expecting a large attack and need to provide some protection. Porom can often jump turns on this,
White Wave (EX) is a massive party heal alongside buffing the entire party with her HP DMG reduction buff. It typically recharges in 2 skill uses, but Porom’s high turn rates and her tendency to use HP++ can disrupt this. It’s a massive party heal
HP++ is a great ally battery, and is useful as neither of her base skills deal HP damage. With C85 it also fills up her EX a little bit so it feels less bad to push.
Team Synergy Notes
Porom is all around a support, so she's best paired with an attacker and someone to maintain the Lufenia orb.
Removable Passives
NOTE: Passives should generally only be removed if you lack CP space. There are very rare occasions where a character has a bad passive that disrupts their optimal gameplay.Chain Bonus (worst passive in the game)
Busy Little Girl (party SPD +10%, only remove if you notice your EX recharge cycle is disrupted)
Quick Cry (if you feel she's too fast, but you likely won't notice)
Quick Mysidian Brilliance (same as above)
