Acquire by finishing Act 2, Chapter 5 and going to Chapter 5.8

Sphere Recommendations
NOTE: The sphere letters below are hyperlinked to our Sphere Hub which lists all available spheres sorted by effect!A Sphere - Focus ATK to maximize his battery from S2, as well as his damage. BRV DMG spheres are also a good choice.
C Sphere - Garnet for self while Lluyd, Alphinaud & Maria’s spheres are all amazing while also empowering the party.
D Sphere - Focus on any of the ATK spheres, except Wakka!
How-To-Play Notes
Firion needs to maintain his HP to avoid getting his skills downgraded. You have many tools to restore HP if this happens, in order of preference:
EX (if charged)
AA (easy choice)
LD (if debuff is falling off or if in Force Time)
S1 (if [Blood Weapon] buff is falling off)
S2 (if generics are running low)
HP+++ (if an ALL attack is incoming and you don’t want to be broken)
Firion is fairly easy to play, just maintain his buffs, and use his LD at the start of a wave and after his debuff has fallen off. Be mindful not to use LD before enemies cleanse their debuffs.
Blood Weapon (S1) and Seize Attack+ (Blood Weapon) (S2) both heal the party and are filler attacks if needed.
Weaponsmaster+ (EX) deals the big damage, extends his buffs and keeps himself healthy. Use it as often as you can unless you need to use LD.
Vortex of Arms (LD) Heals the party, grants Firion a free skill use next turn and places down his powerful trap: Drain Weapon.
Drain Weapon (Trap) is a 3 HP attack move that heals the party. Great for off-turn Force Times that have enemies take a lot of turns.
Fervid Blazer (BT) grants his BT effect boosting ally stats while they are above 50% HP.
