Supplementary Notes to the Infographic Analysis:

The infographic covers the key critical points and should be reviewed prior to delving into the in-depth notes

How-To-Play Notes

  • Queen at her base is an aura-bot that just needs to maintain buffs on herself to enable the party. She has party wide last stand, so the team avoids KO if their HP is above 50%!

  • Open with Divine Judgment to get her LD buff active. Make sure to keep this at all times for its great buffs.

  • Her base skills are very very lackluster. Speedrush Thrust is filler type single target attack which batteries the party and extends her self granted buffs by 1 turn.

  • Mana Sphere is generally just used to upkeep her 2 framed buffs. It shaves all enemies which can be helpful. Most of her skills extend her buffs by a turn, so upkeeping her buffs isn’t difficult.

  • Rasetsu Arousal is her EX, dealing great damage and giving her a unique effect which enables 3 uses of her transformed versions of her BRV/HP skills. She cannot use any other skills with this effect besides BRV/HP+ variations! It does lower her HP to 1, but she gains immunity to KO with her effect, and she recovers above 50% after it falls off, so there’s no risk here!

  • Balestra Lunge is her transformed BRV+ after EX. It will nearly always cap her damage, and is an instant free turn. This is great when you need free damage or to manipulate turns. You’ll need 2 skills to recharge after this.

  • Devastate is her transformed HP+ after EX. It has multiple BRV dumps and splash, so it’s okay against multiple enemies. This one is good if you can battery her, but it’s high turn rate, so you may actually come out lower in damage if you don’t battery her vs Lunge. You only need 1 skill to recharge after using Devastate 3x.

  • Don’t forget her AA can heal the party a bit in a pinch!

Team Synergy Notes

  • Ashe turns Queen into a monster damage dealer! The HP+ charging EXs means that Queen never needs to waste turns with her poor skills.

  • Iroha is also interesting, making Devastate deal much more damage thanks to the BRV retention mechanic.

  • Don’t have Ashe/Iroha or don’t want to run them? Not a problem at all, she’s a great aura bot that enables your other damage dealers. Pair her with a utility character that counters the boss and you’re good to go.

Sphere Recommendations

NOTE: The sphere letters below are hyperlinked to our Sphere Hub which lists all available spheres sorted by effect!
  • A spheres: Focus only on BRV DMG and/or ATK. ATK +15% or BRV DMG +10% is best. Noel, Cloud, Raijin are among the best, but use the link to pick any sphere in these categories.

  • D sphere: Hers is best, but any of the ATK D spheres outside of Wakka work well!

Removable Passives

NOTE: Passives should generally only be removed if you lack CP space. There are very rare occasions where a character has a bad passive that disrupts their optimal gameplay.
  • BRV Attack++ HP Attack++ Up (never used)

  • Divine Judgment Focused Attack (only useful if facing a singular enemy)

  • Buff Base Up (20% iBRV is unfortunately not a relevant stat unless you run her alongside someone with iBRV regen)

  • Break Speed Up (10% SPD for a turn after breaking isn’t very impactful, but it’s not good to slow down your damage dealers)

  • Buff Speed Up (10% SPD while buffed… same as above)
