Numbers listed below refer to the 7 passives to select for each Ultimate Summon Board for the character. Top is 1, bottom is 7.Odin choose 3 / (4 or 6) / 7
6 and 4 are very close. 6 has more general use purpose for Eald. He won't always be targeted, and the BRV DMG boost is rarer than a generic ATK boost. If you plan to only use Eald to cheese content where bosses frequently do ALL attacks and you never plan to use him otherwise, then choice 4 would be better. The difference between them is marginal at best.

Usuals:

Leviathan, Pandemonium, Diabolos, Alexander 4 / 5 / 6

How-To-Play Notes
Eald’s Terror debuff will paralyze enemies indefinitely when Eald’narche is being targeted, or if the enemy is targeting ALL (your entire party). They will not change target unless there is a special boss AI, so as long as Terror is inflicted, they are stuck facing the little baby man.
You will generally want to open by spamming Uranos Cascade to build charge on his EX. The longer you spam Cascade, the more longevity Eald will have.
When you are ready to begin locking down bosses, it’s time to use Phase Shift (it’s best if he’s being targeted at this time to immediately lock down enemies). Eald is much stronger with his Exoplates dropped, and can start Terror locking enemies now despite losing the stat boost from Exoplates!
All those Uranos Cascades you opened with are now refunded! Now you have Omega Javelin which is a more aggressive skill with more utility.
Once Exoplates are dropped, you can’t get them back.
With Exoplates dropped, use Exceed Lance to jump start him. It’s best to use his LD whenever his EX is nearly charged, since you should use the free skill on his AA (Debuff Act Longer). The LD > AA combo can then charge your EX, and let you drop a 4T Terror debuff (and 4T Warp when you use Omega Javelin). Just be wary of using AA while BT effect is up.
Stellar Burst is an AoE BRV shave if you need it, and drops a speed down debuff. This is generally just filler for EX recharge, and is a fine choice if he has a low BRV currently.
Omega Javelin is used to upkeep Warp debuff on enemies.
While Warp is active, Eald is going to take a lot of turns. EX and LD provide a free skill use so use skills to your liking, just note you may have to use HP++ in longer fights.
Vortex only inflicts Terror if his Exoplates are dropped, and as this is the strongest element of his kit, this is why some players generally opt to drop his Exoplates early in a fight.
Avoid using AA before BT! If you do, all of your attacks in the BT window will inflict your debuffs +2T. When you come out of the BT window, and your AA effect falls off, you will no longer be able to inflict debuffs (because they are not decreasing from his BT effect), and you will lose your LD buff unless you waste a turn of your BT effect by using an AA again.
Team Synergy Notes
Eald’narche loves calls that inflict lock, like Celes for example. This allows him to follow up with Vortex, and Terror lock enemies.
If boss AI dictates that the lowest or highest HP ally is targeted, use Eald’narche’s passives (if you picked up some 108/1020 artifacts, they will help) to change his HP value so that he is always targeted.
Sphere Recommendations
NOTE: The sphere letters below are hyperlinked to our Sphere Hub which lists all available spheres sorted by effect!A Sphere - Focus ATK & BRV DMG primarily. Plenty of options to choose from.
B Sphere - Celes sphere is excellent for him, otherwise the next best choice is Snow... BUT he can't reliably lock enemies, so this means you'll plan to use him only when you can lock enemies down consistently. Without access to lock, and a bunch of other defensive options, you aren't left with many choices, but I suppose Gabranth RF might be semi-useful.
E Sphere - Even though he gets his LD buff whenever inflicting a debuff, you generally won’t have trouble maintaining it, so do not give a debuff inflicting sphere. Focus on ATK (Ranged/Physical ATK is fine too), and avoid his own… which belongs on a character like Edward or Keiss.
