Sphere Recommendations
NOTE: The sphere letters below are hyperlinked to our Sphere Hub which lists all available spheres sorted by effect!B Sphere - His own is useful, but otherwise Celes or Gabranth work well
D Sphere - Boost the party's ATK with the usuals (linked in D Sphere)
E Sphere - He can debuff somewhat frequently so 6T ATK spheres are comfy, Seymour is good on almost any E sphere user that debuffs, Kimahri is no exception.
How to Play Notes
These notes are thanks to the work of Renki#4255, who proactively wrote these notes, allowing Ink to edit & add them here.TLDR: Kimahri is a straightforward character to play. You may choose to hold onto his HP+ variant in order to reapply his Total Blindness debuff at crucial points in the fight.
Lancet & Thrustkick is a strong single target attack with a HP heal that converts excess healing into BRV while giving Kimahri his Ronso Traits buff, ensuring his skills stay in their stronger variations.
Mighty Guard & Bad Breath batteries the party before aoe shaving the enemies and applying a decent debuff and poison effect to all enemies. The party also gains some HP damage resistance.
Nova is Kimahri’s strongest aoe shaving ability that also applies his very strong Total Blindess debuff, ensuring the enemy misses all non-guaranteed attacks and debuffs. This buff does not last long but the EX recharges in 2 skills or just 1 Jump++ so the debuff should be applied most of the time.
White Wind is a full heal as well as a very powerful battery. It also extends all of Kimahri’s self buffs by 1 turn and gives him a free skill next turn. The buff it provides, Winds of Gagazet provides his team with a very large aura that boosts most of the important stats and is even stronger if HP is greater than 50%. Lastly, it provides his Jump++ HP variant.
Jump++ is a single-use HP variant granted by White Wind. This attack batteries the party, instantly fills Kimahri’s EX gauge, and has an instant turn rate. This is perfect for when a boss cleanses and has a turn soon after Kimahri so he can quickly reapply his Total Blindness debuff ensuring the parties safety from most attacks. This should not be used during the turn after White Wind as you will lose the free ability use unless absolutely necessary for the survival of your team.
