Supplementary Notes to the Infographic Analysis:

The infographic covers the key critical points and should be reviewed prior to delving into the in-depth notes

Gameplay Notes:

  • Never let her Charge & Dodge buff fall off, it’s key to her evasion

  • Her ROK skill is amazing for shaving as well locking enemies onto her persistently. Perhaps avoid using this if the boss is targeting ALL unless shaving is required.

  • Her AA is great for pushing damage through, but also guaranteeing her evasion, but make sure that Charge & Dodge won't fall off while it's up, since you'd waste a turn of perfect evasion! Note that Ice Enchant adds 20% BRV DMG to skills that are already ice element, and this stacks!

  • Note that her counter & Land Mine are magic, but it really doesn't matter at all. Cater is hitting weakness at all times after using her EX!

Team Synergy Notes:

  • With just 2 framed buffs that matter, Cater appreciates any support, but certainly loves BRV Regen buffers most like Garnet, Aphmau, Wakka, Penelo, etc

Sphere Recommendations:

  • A spheres: Focus on buffing ATK & BRV DMG but avoid ranged/magic ATK type boosts as she has a mixed kit

    • Noel, King, & Eight have standout spheres for her and Cyan’s is quite nice as well for some more overflow

  • E sphere: Most spheres focusing on ATK are great for her, and as for debuff inflicting spheres, really mBRV or DEF Down are the only ones that stand out. We recommend against giving her SPD Down based spheres.
