Sphere Recommendations
NOTE: The sphere letters below are hyperlinked to our Sphere Hub which lists all available spheres sorted by effect!A Spheres - Focus ATK, BRV DMG primarily. ATK & iBRV spheres are great choices also. Kuja RF sphere is a great budget option
E Sphere - Focus ATK & MATK. Seymour, Kefka, Emperor are some of the best. Refined Faris sphere is a mediocre budget option. Her own sphere shouldn’t be put on anyone for now, it’s terrible and uses a precious debuff slot on a below average effect
How-To-Play Notes
Open with Apocalypse, S1 and S2 to get her going! C85 makes her EX charged at QS as well as improving longevity by making the next 2 turns + ability uses free!
Protean Swords+ is her last resort for damage (unless it's a single target fight, then use this more) as it has
alternating hits; whichever enemy you aim at, will be hit last in the chain.
2 enemies: Aim at A: ABABABABA
3 enemies: Aim at B: ACBACBACB
Hell’s Judgment+ is her go-to damage skill, and is always what you use after EX for free, unless there is only one enemy. Use this to make sure enemies always have her useful debuff (DEF & Sap debuff)
Apocalypse recharges in either 3 skill uses.
BT phase recommended skill setup: EX > S2 > S2 > S2 > LD > S2 > Finisher
If she has a free skill or 2, save LD for the last hit.
Note that Junction Griever will not decrease in Burst, so following the BT phase, she will have 3 turns back to back, but the first skill will not be free use.
Use Shockwave Pulsar specifically to maintain your buff. Just be sure that your buff has at least 2 turns on it before you use Apocalypse, otherwise your free skill use won’t have her buff
Team Synergy Notes
Look to pair her with strong supports and linked attackers to make use of her many turns
Thanks to Junction Griever not decreasing in Burst, she can take advantage of Instant/Abnormal Turn Rate Force Conditions.
Works well with linked attackers, however she can't steal turns as well as other units may be able to
Bad passives (if you lack enough CP to equip important passives):
Hell's Judgment Focused Attack (only good versus single enemies… and you probably won’t use Ultimecia in your party in that case)
Maelstrom Up (just note that this is excellent for BRV shaving you will likely use this in longer quests where longevity is important
HP Attack+ HP Attack++ Up (ONLY remove if planning to go skill spam and complete in under 40 turns)
Note: Buff Speed Up does not affect her EX recharge. You would need to remove Buff Attack Speed Up to lower her recast to 2 skills + 2 BRV/HP, but reducing your damage dealer’s ATK by 40% is not advised.
