How-To-Play Notes
These notes are thanks to the work of Renki#4255, who proactively wrote these notes, allowing Cel to edit & add them here.Enna Kros’ main damage comes from Omega God's attacks (S2, EX and LD), so your number 1 priority is to maintain this buff as doing so will ensure Omega God comes out with full BRV (as opposed to entering with only iBRV) for a huge big hit and more momentum if you throw support their way. You can increase her overhead either through her EX or through her LD. If her EX is not up, you want to check her buffs. If Close Enough Creator or her debuff, Probably Divine Punishment are falling off, use her S1, Kinda Sorta Holy. Otherwise, use her S2, Bold Maneuver.
Note: Enna Kros is a very selfish unit but benefits greatly from investment and proper support and can outdamage most BT finishers but give very little if anything in return (because that's who she is)
Kinda Sorta Holy (S1) grants Enna Kros her Close Enough Creator buff and inflicts Probably Divine Punishment on all enemies. Close Enough Creator grants strong stat and HP damage boosts to Enna Kross and also rounds her BRV to the nearest thousand and the end of every turn. She also gains a 20% chance to completely fill her EX gauge at the end of her turn. Probably Divine Punishment reduces the enemy’s defense and inflicts Dark and Holy Resist Down.
Bold Maneuver (S2) is Enna Kros’s go to move when not refreshing buffs or using her EX. This summons Omega God to attack the enemy. Omega God has stats based on Enna Kros’s but much higher, allowing for more damage.
Atomic Impact (EX) typically takes at least 3 skill uses to fill (unless you get lucky). Atomic Impact also has a low turn rate, delaying Enna Kros somewhat upon use. Like Bold Maneuver, this summons Omega God to attack, dealing high damage. This will also delete all target’s next turns and grants 2 stacks of Omega God Manifest. This overhead can have up to 6 stacks, each stack allowing Omega God to attack. Once Omega God is summoned, the stack is reduced by 1. This will also set Omega God's cBRV to mBRV whenever she uses S2, EX or LD.
Astral Annihilation (LD) is a very strong attack summons Omega God to deal high damage to a single target and increases her stacks of Manifest Omega God by 2 and grants Kinda Sorta the Creator. This is best used when Manifest Omega God is nearly out of stacks, to refresh Close-Enough Creator and when Enna Kros’s EX is not charged.
Pretty-Close Solution (FR) also deletes enemy turns and asks for:
Holy BRV DMG on turn (20%)
Dark BRV DMG on turn (20%) &
Ending your turn with at least 100% mBRV after an HP attack go out (40%) - this just means if you got enough BRV which you should in most cases because you steal and gain so much BRV.
Creation and Destruction (BT) rounds up HP attack values to the 6th digit. Then it can be multiplied by FR Bonus. It also enchants the party making for comfy Enna FR time starts.
Thanks to her unique RNG propertiers of EX, you want to use it as often as possible. If it's not available, S2 is the next best choice.
Note she needs her S1 buff active so if it's not up, make sure to use it on the first turn!
U4 makes it more likely to trigger her EX (36% instead of just 20% to get EX after a turn)
Avoid FR unless necessary as it's one of her worse damaging buttons (only better than S1)
Team Synergy Notes
We know you're all wondering, yes Enna Kros can hit the Big 1M damage per HP attack thanks to her BT effect rounding up.
Weiss and later Arciela can provide fun, round true HP damage since they base it on HP DMG Dealt and Enna rounds that up.
Attacks with Omega God also have 3x BRV/HP DMG Limits so the 4 AoE and 8 ST HP attacks from EX and LD (thanks to allies and BT effects) can hit as hard as if they were 24 - 40 HP attacks (LD vs 1 target or EX vs 2 targets) Vs 3 targets she does as much damage as 48 - 80 HP attacks with EX. (Assuming allies are doing 200k - 300k per HP attack. With her BT effect up the comparison gets nebulous as allies that can deal 400k - 500k start catching up especially if they deal 8 AoE HP attacks on average (the comparison becomes 16-20 HPs and 32 - 40 HPs from the 1/2 and 3 targets example earlier).
And before you think it, Astos is an outlier in damage who also has 1M HP damage per HP attack but has many more HP attacks whereas they're holding Enna back with very few HP attacks however she can still match and surpass many damage dealers.
Her FR asks for Holy and Dark which her BT provides, however it only lasts 6T meaning it may be tricky for her to BT phase with. You may want Xande LDCA or Shantotto BT +3/3 for dark and Holy is available through a few units in party like Ceodore or Kuja, but it can also be found in some calls like Minwu or Ashe; these can be used to help her FR -> Echo -> Finisher for her own BT phase.
Rem is a great ally offering Enna Kros a 30% mBRV floor with her Magical Projection buff (which works on Omega god so he maintains 30% of his 500% of Enna Kros' mBRV) that turns Enna Kros from a Close Enough Creator to a kinda sorta destroyer!
To push her damage past limit caps even further, throw her in launch/launch support teams to add high wall damage (the bounce at the end of launches)
For the giga whales with the 3rd Crystal Ability, you can give her more turns at the end of FR time instead of using an FR turn to use Lunafreya LDCA.
tl;dr she's still a great investment for damage and support. She can deal damage or hang back and help your faves excel.
Extra Notes
Her FR is great for many non-elemental attackers as her BT means an easy 80% FR HP DMG Bonus and an easy 50% HP DMG & Limit.
Getting her to use her BT phase is tricker due to her 6T BT effect. You either have to bring Dark/Holy Enchants or give up a turn or 2 of BT effect in BT phase.
If no one is BT phasing, safely BT finisher before FR time and watch everyone deal their clean, round numbers!
Get her the U4 crystal passive for a 36% chance to refill her EX each BT turn or pop your Bahamut Summon out for a walk for her to bonk with.
Older stuff if using FR only Enna
In Supercharged FR settings (or high FR bonus with a couple turns left):
Note: this strategy was useful when her FR first came out (Dec 2022) and thanks to her BT, she can EX and LD like a normal person; other units also hit extremely hard too meaning every party turn can be a nuke.
You'll want Lunafreya in party, as a friend or as a call to make sure Enna has a couple/few turns ate the end for the biggest impact
Supercharged FRs are the easiest to slot alongside her (Hope, Aerith, Ursula, Llyud, Iroha, etc.) where on top of the 50% bonus from a non-attacking skill, there are other boosts that increase those passing turns further.
Before the FR, make sure Enna has Quick Prayer and all call buffs, auras are set up (Common calls for Enna herself are Raines, Prishe, Alisaie, Cait, Iroha. Other buffing or debuffing calls can go on allies. Debuffing calls especially useful on the FR Gauge charging unit). Units like Rem and Queen provide BRV gains after each HP attack to the party which can also help if you've built them up already!
