Sphere Recommendations
NOTE: The sphere letters below are hyperlinked to our Sphere Hub which lists all available spheres sorted by effect!A Spheres - ATK for his first-strike BRV gains and gravity. ATK/mBRV is also solid.
B Spheres - Snow and Galuf are the best spheres he can consistently use.
How-To-Play Notes
He's a lone wolf type of character. He can't protect allies from damage outside of whatever BRV hits that miss him not adding to enemy BRV pools and his AA. His FR also heavily focuses on himself as he needs to dodge for the bulk of his FR Bonus. Guaranteed hits also require care (Gladio LDCA).
Impact Cut (S1) is 8 ST HP.
Gains Final Will of the Dawn: unlocks First Strike which deal 4 ST pre-emptive HP attacks based on his cBRV.
Tri-Element (S2) is 4 Split HP. Important buff attached (same as S1 buff)
Gains Final Will of the Dawn
Wolves' Gale (EX) is 6 Split HP attacks.
Gains Swift Wolf: Aura lock + 100% evasion.
Requiem Slash (LD) is 5 Full HP attacks.
Gains Werewolf Pride: counters when evading with 3 HPs + 3 splashes.
LUPINE ATTACK (BT) grants his 6T BT aura:
BRV DMG +50%
HP DMG +20%
BRV DMG Limit 50%
HP DMG Limit +30% (The usual stat ups)
Pre-emptive attack triggered TWICE. This increases his damage output by quite a bit.
Swallow Smash (FR) lowers his turn rate by 50% so enemies act more and he counters more. It also provides 20% HP DMG & Limit to the "Party). It asks for:
Kelger evades : 50%
Any Melee abilities: 5% (Kelger gets 10% for this condition)
Team Synergy
He's not really a team player. If you do give him teammates they need to rely on traps or unique off-turn attacks like Cor/Faris
Beatrix is not a great partner, neither is Galuf. If enemies spam AoE attacks they can fit together, but otherwise they're not great pairings.
