Supplementary Notes to the Infographic Analysis:

The infographic covers the key critical points and should be reviewed prior to delving into the in-depth notes

Gameplay Notes:

  • HP++ - good vs multiple enemies when EX is nearly recharged

  • Banishing Blade - single target shave go-to ability, best for iBRV debuff to counter boss BRV gains

  • Purgatory - heavy hitting skill vs AoE, use to maintain melee resist down, wait for all buffs to be up for the team with this as it has low overflow

  • Dragon Fang - use when charged (1 skill & 2 HP+ or 2 skills), excellent AoE delay, hard hitting ability

  • Weak Damage Up Crush - use before summon & when boss is in red status

Team Synergy Notes:

  • His mBRV & iBRV down debuffs are amazing for stacking with framed versions to help shut bosses down. Check our Effects page to see who you might want to pair with him!

  • Note that melee elemental attackers like Jecht will not deal weakness damage with Auron's imperil if their element is absorbed.

Sphere Recommendations:

  • A spheres: Very straight forward - focus ATK & BRV DMG, ideally mixing them.

  • E sphere: His own sphere is premium for him. He inflicts debuffs often, and is up for just about any sphere, so boosting ATK & mBRV is the general go-to.
