How-To-Play Notes
Open with LD to get his LD buff up and get to swinging!
Master Blade (S2) is his most damaging filler skill and will delay his target 2T.
Call for Precision Strike and Call for Ferocity (S1 and LD) can be used to reapply his Precision Strike debuff, but if you really need to shave a specific enemy, use AA to make sure your target is debuffed
His LD grants him his Ferocity buff which doubles down on his Single Target focus, granting attacks that start with Single Target BRV hits extra buffs and an added true HP attack (10% of the attacking unit's HP DMG Limit) to each HP attack which can spread out if the attack has splash involved
(e.g. Terra's S1 and EX have ST BRV hits and HP Splash; the main HP attacks and splashed hits will have the extra HP attack on them)
Chase (launch) HP attacks benefit from this effect
The extra HP attack can stack with other sources of a similar effect in the future. It is not effected by HP DMG modifiers and is a flat amount dependent on the attacking unit's HP DMG Limit which you can raise with HA, HA+, certain summon phases or party member's BT effects that have it
Kefka with LD boards applies his debuffs AoE before his ST BRV attacks and will not benefit from the effect unless the fight is ST.
IF THE ENEMY HAS NO HP LEFT, LEO'S FEROCITY EFFECT WILL NOT TRIGGER (Finishing blows or overkill)
Shock (EX) isn't held back by 2 target fights anymore as he will hit hard with his EX regardless of enemy count and his enhanced variant has BRV gains to compensate for lack of a second target to steal BRV from.
Final Shock (BT) provides some basic auras (HP DMG Limit included, awesome!) and enables his BT follow up when the party targets the enemy with his Precision Strike debuff.
Kefcut (our name for the follow up) is a single-target 4 HP attack similar to Noctis. Great extra damage in a single target fight. Good damage in a 2-target fight however his debuff may make it tricky to maximize if you need to swap targets.
Prominence Shock (FR) summons the power of Steiner and Macilento to delay the target 3 turns. It reapplies his Precision Strike debuff and asks for:
Single Target BRV DMG on turn: +30%
Targeting and Attacking the enemy with his Precision Strike debuff: +45%
Team Synergy Notes
He boosts units with Single Target attacks, launches or splash on their ST attacks as they can get the BRV DMG boost from Precision Strike and the true HP attacks tacked onto their regular HP attacks
Without burst heals of his own, pair him with a tank, defensive support or burst healer in more HP heavy fights
His Precision Strike debuff can only be applied to 1 enemy at a time and reapplying it will remove it from the other target.
Leo is mainly Single Target focused and only his EX can scale with 2 targets well. His FR and BT asking to target his focused target may make it awkward to swap targets as well.
He doesn't have on demand HP Heals or mitigation so he can't help with HP attack heavy fights, but can top off units with his regen as the fight goes on otherwise
