Supplementary Notes to the Infographic Analysis:The infographic covers the key critical points and should be reviewed prior to delving into the in-depth notes
You’ll want to maintain his LD buff, Defense, at all times as all of his buffs that he grants himself will be 2 turns longer in duration, which will guarantee him perpetual 100% evasion from his now 4T EX buff
His general skill usage follows a skill > Lightspeed Jab > EX. Against guaranteed hits, you certainly can do skill > BRV++ > Lightspeed Jab+ > EX, but this is less used since his Counter Rush only has 120% overflow
Use his skills to maintain his buffs, and be sure to always weave a skill in between EX uses since 3 Lightspeed Jabs in a row will *not* fully charge your EX and you will become vulnerable to being hit.
Team Synergy Notes:
His counters have low potency, so it’s best to use him with strong battery/enchanter/aura based characters like Kuja, Garnet, Rude, Sazh etc.
Note that characters like Desch & Raijin are great too, but they have paralysis - and characters that deny turns to the enemy may lower his damage over time.
Do not use him with tanks - WoL, Gladio, Basch will all conflict with his gameplay heavily. Note that Nine does not conflict, because Nine does not taunt and is not a tank ;)
A spheres - Focus ATK to boost his BRV gains, and mix in some BRV DMG to help his counter potencies. There are too many options to recommend any specifics, but note that Raijin's sphere is good but will not boost his BRV gains that are based on ATK.
Bad Passives (to remove if you need CP space):
BRV Attack+ HP Attack+ Up (completely 100% useless)
All DEF passives (he'll never get hit if you play properly)
Break Bonus Up (minor effect)
