Transcendence Tier 6

Reminder: Avoid claiming your BT tokens from the Rewards menu, they do NOT expire! Simply wait until there is a BT you want to claim!

For general information on Transcendence, please read our Transcendence FAQ!

You do not need to complete prior Transcendence stages to attempt this stage!

We HIGHLY recommend reading Reckoning first and planning your teams backwards, as T6 is one of the most difficult Transcendence stages to ever be released

Left Crucible vs Aggressive Turtle & Sand Kraken

Orb Timeline:

-1 count per ally action, -2 count per enemy turn
  • Kraken orb appears @ Battle Start (10 count)

  • Turtle orb appears @ 79% HP (10 count)

  • Kraken orb disappears @ 29% HP

Black Crystal required in party

Fight Notes

This fight was brought to you by those ASMR seafood eating videos. CHOMP CHOMP!

Black Crystal Suggestions: Caius, Auron, Iroha, Golbez, Leon, Gladio, Shadow, Zack, Kimahri, Kefka, Garland (better used in T2)

Orb Suggestions: Caius (only character that can trigger the first condition, but the second condition is more than enough for teams), Faris/RF sphere, Leon, Kimahri, more suggestions/calls can be found on Dissidia.dev!

  • DON'T FORGET THAT BOSSES HAVE TO TAKE TURNS TO UPKEEP THE ORB!

Fight mechanics:

  • 55T Lufenia fight, Turtle has 13M HP, Kraken has 12M HP.

  • BRV damage is reduced between 75% and 80% throughout the fight.

  • BRV gain is reduced between 40% and 50% throughout the fight.

General Team Themes to counter the stage:

  • Traps and off-turn damage that triggers on enemy turn can help rip through this stage.

  • Tanks are really helpful due to HP attacks.

    • Auron hitting both of these bullets makes it no surprise that he can solo this stage if you're feeling ambitious.

Boss abilities to watch out for:

  • Lunatic Aggressive Turtle:

    • Boss does have a BRV+HP attack, so careful about breaks.

    • Great Geyser is a BRV Gain + AoE BRV + AoE HP attack that grants SPD up to itself. This dumb turtle gets extremely quick and take numerous turns back to back, so trap like effects, counters, tanking can all be very helpful.

  • Lunatic Sand Kraken:

    • Multiple attacks can delay a target, so counter and trap characters say hi!

    • Boss also has a BRV + HP attack, so tanking can help as mentioned above

    • At 49% the boss will gain max BRV (160k+ BRV)

Right Crucible vs Bastion Giant

Enemy: Bastion Giant (Dissidia Compendium)

Orb Timeline:

-1 count per ally action, -2 count per enemy turn
  • Appears @ Battle Start (10 count)

Launch 3 consecutive player turns: +15 count

Yellow Crystal required in party

Fight Notes

This fight was brought to you by Transformers, castle in disguise!

Yellow Crystal Suggestions: Selphie, Quistis, Tifa (likely locked in T4), Layle (likely locked in T3), Keiss (likely locked in T1), Ardyn, Y'shtola, Desch

Orb Suggestions: Selphie, Raines, Tifa, Layle, otherwise you need launch calls like Cloud, Dark Knight Cecil, Layle (both of his), Ramza, Relm w/ Pande summon, Fang, Keiss, or Raines (if you locked him in T5 for some reason)

Fight mechanics:

  • 75T fight, 18M HP

  • BRV damage is reduced between 75% and 80% throughout the fight.

  • BRV gain is reduced between 40% and 50% throughout the fight.

General Team Themes to counter the stage:

  • Launch launch launch, all 3 of em

    • Either put Selphie LD in party to make this fairly simple

    • Or use a launcher like Raines, Layle (likely locked in T3), Tifa (likely locked in T4), or multiples. Check our launchers list!

      • Use your main team launchers, and then use your calls for the remaining launches up to 3. Burn the castle to the ground.

    • As the boss' HP decreases, the enemy will take multiple actions, so if you're giving the boss turns for some reason, have a tank or HP DMG mitigation ready

Boss abilities to watch out for:

  • Gigant Punch is a BRV attack that becomes higher turn rate when inflicting break / attacking a broken character.

  • Accoustic Pressur Wave is a BRV Gain + AoE HP attack

  • Drumming War is a high turn rate AoE BRV attack that inflicts SPD down on the party.

  • Destruction Power will raise his stats and increase his HP dmg for 1T. He will do this below the 79%HP threshold.

Reckoning vs 2x Argent Officiant & 2x Purpure Mantis

Enemy: Argent Officiant & Purpure Mantis (Diss. Compendium)

Orb Timeline:

-1 count per ally action, -2 count per enemy turn

Wave 1

  • Appears @ 79% HP (15 count)

Inflict 8+ debuffs in a turn +8 count

Fight Notes

This fight was brought to you by venus flytraps from Honey, I Shrunk the Kids

Fight mechanics:

  • 95T fight, 30M total HP

  • BRV damage & gain is reduced between 70% and 90% throughout the fight.

General Team Themes to counter the stage:

Choose between 2 specific strategies. This is near required due to the limited selection of viable debuff heavy characters we have access to at release

  • Strategy 1: Debuffs in main party via Caius or Yuffie. Yes, just those 2. They are the keys to making this stage more tolerable.

  • Strategy 2: At least 2 debuff heavy calls via Caius, Faris, Amidatelion, Tidus, Gabranth

    • Most players tripled up on these if they didn't use Caius/Yuffie in the main party, but high enough damage allows just 2 to be brought

  • Nice to have 1: Having protection against the bosses can be very important. If not running Caius, consider Maria who will shave before the enemy turn. Auron is excellent given wave 2's proclivity to turn warp. Lenna's overhealing and wide role coverage is very useful. Selphie is defensive, blocking BRV DMG and frequently healing.

  • Nice to have 2: Popular damage dealers for this tier are Caius, Jecht, & Twins

Boss abilities to watch out for:

  • Wave 1

    • On the ground, look out for another AoE BRV + HP attack

    • They levitate, gain a lot of BRV, become immune to delay, reduce BRV DMG further, buff themselves, and have either a hard hitting BRV attack or a BRV gain + Full AoE HP attack

    • They do have some attacks that have high turn rate if they break you, so be careful

  • Wave 2

    • Keep these damn things debuffed or prepare to reset, anything less than 6 debuffs makes them very annoying

  1. 0-1 debuffs on the boss: BRV/HP dmg resist 200%, HP/BRV dmg up 50%, moves next turn after each character turn, ATK/SPD/DEF +50%

    • The turn move is annoying unless you're Auron...

  2. 2-4 debuffs: HP/BRV dmg up 50%, moves next turn after each character turn, ATK/SPD/DEF +50%

  3. 5 debuffs: moves next turn after each character turn, ATK/SPD/DEF +50%

  4. 6-7 debuffs: ATK/SPD/DEF +50%.

  5. 8 debuffs: none of these boosts/effects

  • They cleanse all debuffs at 89% & 59% HP

  • When they become purple color, they deal increased BRV DMG

  • They have a BRV attack that heals them and grants them 180k HP Regen for 3T
